What areas does SOLARIS serve?

In Indiana, we serve greater Indianapolis, including Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Westfield and Zionsville. In Colorado, we serve Gunnison, Crested Butte and the Aspen-to-Carbondale valley, including Snowmass Village, Basalt and El Jebel.

Do you tint cars?

No. SOLARIS works only on flat glass: homes, offices, storefronts, schools and churches.

What brands of window film do you install?

SOLARIS is a 3M Prestige Dealer and an authorized LLumar dealer. For bird safety we install Feather Friendly® Bird Collision Deterrent Markers, Bird Divert™ UV Film, SOLYX and BirdShades.

Will window film make my rooms darker or block my view?

It doesn't have to. Many of today's films are nearly invisible from inside and still cut heat, glare and UV. We bring samples to your free consultation so you can see each film on your own windows.

Does window film stop fading?

Quality films block up to 99% of UV rays, the biggest cause of fading in floors, art and furniture. Visible light and heat also cause some fading, so film greatly slows it rather than stopping it completely.

What warranty do you offer?

Most residential films carry a lifetime warranty. Commercial films carry warranties from 5 to 15 years, depending on the film.

Does security film make glass bulletproof?

No. Security film holds broken glass together and slows down anyone trying to break in, which buys time for people inside and for help to arrive. It is not bullet-resistant glass.

Can a grant pay for security film at our school or church?

Often, yes. Indiana schools have used the Secured School Safety Grant to pay for SOLARIS security film. Churches, synagogues and other nonprofits can apply for the federal Nonprofit Security Grant Program, which lists shatter-resistant window film as an allowable cost. Can window film stop birds from hitting our windows?

Yes. We install bird-safe treatments approved by the American Bird Conservancy. Feather Friendly® markers, for example, have been shown to reduce bird collisions by 95% or more.

I own a second home. Can you work with my property manager?

Yes. We coordinate access with your property manager or caretaker and send you photos when the job is done.
